Biography
Philip de Rooij, 1976, began drawing carefully designed portraits and tattoo designs at an early age. After his study in math and architecture,
he started working in real estate and several other companies. He could not creatively express him self
and started his own company (de Rooij Art & Design) as a Dutch artist in 2004.
After experimenting with a variety of techniques and mediums he has chosen oils and Acryl to express his artistic vision on canvas. In 2006 he also started to work digital.
Mostly self-taught, he makes visuals for events, clubs, discotheques and Dutch dj’s. Among which are dj Flex Flavour, dj and producer ReI/O , 51Agency, Electrolize, Vinilyze and Capital X.
